Where Can I Find Component Parts for My Undercover Tonneau Cover?

Peter: I'm not familiar with that number. Who makes the cover?

Truck Owner: It's Undercover. And it's the high pressure series gas spring.

Peter: I'm not familiar with that.

Best Hard Folding Cover for a 2011 Ford F-150

Peter: Hello, this is Peter.

F-150 Owner: Good morning, Peter. I'm looking for a hard cover for my truck.

Peter: Okay. Like a hard folding cover?

F-150 Owner: Yeah

Peter: Okay. So, which brand or model have you been looking at?

F-150 Owner: I've looked at a BAKFlip.

Peter: Okay. Yeah, those are by far the most popular; the highest quality. What truck is it for?

F-150 Owner: My 2011 Ford F-150.

What Information is Needed for a Price Quote for a Retractable Cover for a 2014 Toyota Tundra?

Toyota Tundra Owner: I was calling about a Tonneau cover for a 2014 Toyota Tundra.

Peter: Okay.

Toyota Tundra Owner: I wanted to see how much it cost.

Peter: Okay, what's the bed length?

Toyota Tundra Owner: Five foot seven.

Peter: Okay, and do you have the deck rail system? The tie-down system in the bed?


Toyota Tundra Owner: No.

Peter: Okay, and which tonneau cover were you looking at?

Toyota Tundra Owner: The retractable cover. You have two or three different ones, right?

Peter: We have about 20 different retractable covers. Who is the manufacturer?

What's the Best Tonneau Cover for a a 2019 Chevy Silverado with crew cab and a 5 foot, 8 inch bed?

Chevy Silverado Owner: I just got a 2019 Chevy Silverado with the crew cab with a 5 foot, 8 inch bed and I sent an email request last night to find out about tonneau covers

Chevy Silverado Owner: I'm looking for a hard top, a foldable hard top. I want it to have a little bit more security.

Peter: Was there a particular brand or model you were looking at?


Chevy Silverado Owner: I've looked at a few online... I want to say it was a Gator.

Peter: Okay. Gator's, one of the only brands we don't sell. As, far as hard folding covers the most popular are going to be the BakFlip models. They're tri-folds but they can fold completely up out of the bed and secure behind the cab. So you'll have full use of your bed when you need too. They're very versatile.


Chevy Silverado Owner: Let's see, I think that was maybe one of the ones I was looking at; the BAKFlip G2 tonneau cover. That's what I'm looking at right now. So yeah that hard folding that's probably what I'm going to get, for pricing that's probably definitely what I was looking for.

Peter: Ok, great!

Chevy Silverado Owner: It's not a bad price from what I've seen anyways, quite a bit of difference. Let me, do you guys do financing too?

What Information is Needed to Redeem a Retrax Rebate?

Retrax Customer: Hi, Sean. I am just calling because my husband bought a tonneau cover, and was supposed to get a rebate from Retrax. They're asking for a copy of the actual invoice, and we got a bunch of the emails and confirmations, but where can I find the information I need? 

Sean: Let me see here.

Retrax Customer: I think they're asking for a serial number. On the product? Is that what that serial number is?


Sean: Yeah, it's on the product and it's also on the box itself. So, if you still have the box, you should have it there as well.

Retrax Customer: Yeah, I don't know if he still has the box or not.

Sean: Okay. So, here's what I'm gonna do. I can print a packing slip, which should suffice.


Retrax Customer: It's asking me for a copy of the invoice and the dealer, would that be, tonneaucovered.com? Is that what I list for the dealer?

Sean: Yeah, and if they have any questions, just have them reach out to us because we actually buy directly from them. I'm gonna send some serial number location instructions to you and it will tell you where to look for your serial number as well.


Retrax Customer: That's actually on the tonneau cover somewhere?


Sean: Yes, ma'am. 

Retrax Customer: Because I was looking through all of the emails from you and it is just the things saying, "Your order has been shipped."

Sean: I resent the order confirmation to you. That should suffice. Should it not, have whoever you're speaking to at Retrax reach out to me directly. My name is Sean. I'm gonna send you the serial number location now as well.

Who Can Help With Trouble Installing an MX4 Tonneau Cover?

Truck Owner: I bought an MX4 cover from you. I guess I'm having a hard time installing it, as far as when I put that weatherstripping on the front of the bed. Can you help?

Peter: What's going on? 

Truck Owner: I put it back toward the bed as far as I can. When I put the tailgate up those three seals that are on top, that's supposed to fit them or supposed to be within a quarter inch; that is right. But, on the front of the box I can't. The rubber strip that's on the tonneau cover itself fits right on top of the weatherstripping.

Peter: What I think you should do is call BAK Industries.' They have some techs over there that will be able to help you with this and resolve this for you. They're really good at that.


Truck Owner: If it doesn't work, what would we do after that? Should I just give you a call back?

Peter: They're going to be able to help you. If you need to call me back, do that, no problem. But don't worry.
