What's The Difference Between The MX4 and Ultra Flex for a 2018 GMC Sierra Short Bed?

GMC Sierra Owner: Hi, Peter. I found y'all online looking up Tonneau covers. And I think I'm between the BAKFlip MX4, and the Undercover Ultra Flex. Could you help me?

Peter: Yeah. What truck is it for?

GMC Sierra Owner: It's for a 2018 GMC Sierra short bed. What's the difference between the MX4 and Ultra Flex?

Peter: Okay. They're very similar. I like the Undercover Ultra Flex. It has a longer warranty, so you've got a five-year warranty, where the MX4 has a three-year. And when you have it completely open, it doesn't rest against the cab like the MX4 does. But they're both really great covers. You can't go wrong with either.

GMC Sierra Owner: Okay. What is the price difference between them?

Peter: The Ultraflex is going to be about $40 more, but like I said, it has a longer warranty. It's free shipping on both and there's no sales tax if you're ordering from outside of Arizona.

GMC Sierra Owner: Is one more durable than the other, or they about the same?

Peter: No, they're the same.

GMC Sierra Owner: Okay. All right. I guess I'll go with the Undercover Ultra Flex then.

How Can I Get the Best Price on a BAKFlip MX4 for a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500?

GMC Sierra Owner: I'm looking for a BAKFlip MX4 for a 2018 GMC Sierra Truck 1500, and it's a standard bed. So I'm assuming that's about the 6' 5” or 6' 6” bed.

Sean: I have one in stock where there's no shipping cost and then there's no tax outside of Arizona.

GMC Sierra Owner: Oh my goodness, wow. You know I'm going to get it. So I'm going to have to go transfer some money. That's the best price I've found on an MX4. Sierra Owner: How easy is it to install? Because I have a tonneau cover but it leaks.

Sean: They're pretty easy to put in. What kind of tonneau cover do you have, just out of curiosity?

GMC Sierra Owner: I would tell you but my truck is actually getting an oil change.

Sean: Is it a folding tonneau cover?

GMC Sierra Owner: Yes it is. And it leaks when I open up my truck bed, there's water already in there.

Sean: Yeah folding covers tend to do that unless you get the kind that sits on top of the rails.

How Do I Get Expedited Shipping on a BAKFlip G2 for a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500?

How to Order the Correct WeatherTech Floor Mats for a 2018 GMC Sierra

GMC Owner: I wanted to ask about floor mats. Do you guys carry the factory type, heavy duty floor mats? Or WeatherTech? Or, what?

Paul: We do carry WeatherTech.

GMC Owner: I was looking on your website, and it only goes up to 2016. Can you help me order the right ones for my truck?

Paul: Absolutely. What kind of truck do you have? 

GMC Owner: 2018 GMC Sierra crew cab.

Paul: Do you have a console? All the way to the dash?

GMC Owner: Yeah, it's all the way to the dash.

Paul: Okay. And then no manual 4 X 4 on the floor, right?

GMC Owner: Nope. No manual 4X4

Paul: Okay. You want first row, second row, or both? 

GMC Owner: First and second row, please. 

Paul: Okay, do you need full coverage? It's looks like there's full coverage, and then there is just floor mats for the floor. So do you want it to go up underneath the seats as well?

GMC Owner: Probably not.

Paul: Okay. And, I assume black?

GMC Owner: No, actually it's cocoa and sand interior. Sort of a tan, yeah.

Paul: I have cocoa, and I have tan.

GMC Owner: Let's go with the cocoa ... That's what the carpet mats that came in it are; dark brown. What's the difference in the ones that go up under the backseat?

Paul: There's only a difference of roughly $10 or so if you want the ones that go up under the backseat.

Rebate Redemption for a Retrax XR tonneau cover for a 2018 GMC Sierra

GMC Sierra Owner: I talked to you guys about a week and a half ago or so about a cover for a truck, and it looks like now that they're doing a special with the Retrax, the XR that comes with a rebate that you can get the Yakima racks to go with it.

Peter: That's right.

GMC Sierra Owner: How do I do something to set that up, or is it something I do over the phone with you or online? How does that work?

Peter: Yeah, I can take care of it with you. What truck was it for?

GMC Sierra Owner: A 2018 GMC Sierra.

Peter: What's the bed length?


GMC Sierra Owner: It's the short bed, the five, eight.

Peter: Did we send you a quote?

GMC Sierra Owner: Yes.

Peter: Ok, I can take care of it with you right now if you'd like.

GMC Sierra Owner: Ok. And then for the rebate, I just take the receipt and mail it in with the rebate that's online from them, and then they send it separately for the rack or how does that work?

Peter: That's right. Exactly. After we complete your order we will ship your tonneau cover to you, but you will redeem the rebate directly through Retrax.

Peter: So again, that's the 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 short bed?

GMC Sierra Owner: Yes, and I would like the Retrax Pro XR.
