How Can I get the Best Price on Other Truck Accessories?

F250 Owner: What else do you all sell? Is it just Tonneau Covers? How can I get the best price on other truck accessories?

Peter: We pretty much have anything you need for your truck. We don't advertise everything on our site, but we have everything most of our competitors have. So what I recommend is that if you're looking for other stuff, you can Google it and grab a part number and I'll beat any price elsewhere.

F250 Owner: What about swing boxes? Do you know off the top of your head?

Peter: Yeah, we sell the Undercover swing boxes.

F250 Owner: Do you have the drill-less one for a 2017 Ford F250?

Peter: I don't think we have drill-less ones, unless you are aware of some and you have a part number. I could check on that for you.

F250 Owner: I have to look it up. They're the ones for the '17s, you take the tail light off and then they bolt through, because it's an aluminum truck bed.

Peter: Right.

F250 Owner: So you don't have to drill any holes. The self tapping screws I guess that they install the other ones with.

Peter: Right.

F250 Owner: I'll have to look it up and give you a call back I guess.

Peter: Yeah, just let me know. Like I said, I probably carry it and I'll get you a good deal.

Does the Undercover Ultra Flex Include All Mounting Hardware For a 2014 Ford F-150?

F-150 Owner: I'm interested in the Undercover Ultra Flex cover.

Peter: Okay. And what truck is it for?

F-150 Owner: It's a 2014 F-150 Lariat.

Peter: How long is the bed?

F-150 Owner: Five-seven.

Peter: Okay. It's free shipping and there's no sales tax if you're ordering from outside of Arizona.

F-150 Owner: Okay. I'd like to order it then. It's the Ultra Flex, right?

Peter: That's right.

F-150 Owner: Okay. The Ultra Flex comes with all the mounting hardware and everything, right?

Peter: It does. Everything you need. Yep.

F-150 Owner: Okay. I'd like to order it.

Peter: Okay. So, 2014 F-150 short bed. I'll get this shipped out today. Before you install it just inspect everything. Make sure nothing was damaged in shipping. It's really rare for that to happen. But if anything were damaged, do not install it, just call us and we'll take care of it.

Is There a Tonneau Cover That Utilizes The Deck Rail System on a 2019 Toyota Tundra CrewMax?

Toyota Owner: I just bought a new truck, 2019 Toyota Tundra CrewMax. I have the deck rail system in there and I wanted to know if you had a hard folding cover that utilizes that system, that I don't have to move the deck rail system. I was looking at the, the BAKFlip, I think it's MX4, but you have to move that down to ... I think you can order the brackets, but I know from Toyota OEM they have a cover that utilizes that track that's there already.

Shaun: Okay. Let me see here. You know, Undercover uses it, but then you lose functionality of your tie-downs. You can't move them once a cover is installed.

Toyota Owner: Okay, I see what you're saying. So you could flip it open, but wherever the cleats are, that's where they stay or you can't use them at all?

Shaun: Yeah. Wherever the cleats are, is where they stay. Essentially what's going to happen is there are these little clamps ... The little block goes inside of the channel of your rails, that you have currently. And then so you're going to have three different blocks, in three different locations. So essentially you can move those tie-downs within the space of those blocks, but obviously you can't move it past that.

Toyota Owner: Yeah, yeah, that's no problem. I just didn't want to move around my ... drop the tracks or anything like that.

Shaun: Okay. What year is it again?

Toyota Owner: It's a 2019 Toyota Tundra CrewMax, the short bed.

Shaun: Okay.

Toyota Owner: You see, that's the other thing, some of these covers, they list 5.5 and then 5.7

Shaun: Yeah, I know, it's all the same. All right, so Undercover has a few different options. What price range do you want to stay in?

Toyota Owner: I know they're probably close to a grand. So I guess somewhere in that eight to a thousand dollar price range

Shaun: How much do you think you're going to be using this cover, man? Is it going to be every day? As a daily driver, contractor?

Toyota Owner: No. Basic driving back and forth to work. I'm not really expecting to haul a lot of stuff. Every once in awhile I'll run to Home Depot.

Shaun: Well, they have two different things for you and they're both matte black. One's more of a shiny finish, or not shiny but smooth finish. And then one's more of a rough finish. Now the rough finish is Line-X material on there. So it's scratch proof.

Toyota Owner: What is that like? Oh, it's scratch proof. Okay.

Shaun: Bedliner. You know spray in bed liners? It's actually on top of the cover.

Toyota Owner: Like a Rhino type finish.

Shaun: Right. Yeah. They spray their panels now before they assemble the cover. So they're actually pretty awesome, man. I actually worked for them for a decade and the salesman had one on his truck when they first did one and he took a key to it, and went back and forth and could not scratch this cover.

Toyota Owner: Okay. That that's like four panels, or three?

Shaun: For your truck, since it's a short bed, it's gonna be three panels and then you have the solid a-panel. Unlike the BAKFlip, the BAKFlip has a composite a-panel, so it's the same as the cover. The Undercover is solid.

Toyota Owner: Okay. And what other options do I have with ... And that utilizes the track where it is?

Shaun: Correct. The other one that I was going to suggest to you, and both of these have a five-year warranty, the other one when I was going to suggest was the Ultra Flex. It's matte black finish, it does not have the Line-X on it, but it has pretty much all the other features. It also has a carpeted underside, and it's not really carpet, it's BedRug is what it is. And the BedRug material is basically a plastic but it feels like a carpet. It's got a nicer finish. I believe it comes with a set of lights, so it'll come with a bed light as well.

Toyota Owner: All right. Could you give me the model numbers of both because I just wanted to take a look at them online.

Shaun: Sure. It's UX42008 and AX42008.

Toyota Owner: Okay, and I'll give you a call back. I just want to take a look at them. And those are the only two that utilizes the back rail system or the only ones that you recommend, really?

Shaun: Those are the only two that use it and the only two I recommend. You could go for their cheap version, which is the Flex. But honestly, you're going to want one of the other ones. Let me know if you have any other questions!

What is the Best Scratch Resistant Waterproof Tonneau Cover for a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500?

GMC Sierra Owner: I have a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 5'8 bed, and I need a tonneau cover.

Shaun: What kind of cover were you looking at?

GMC Sierra Owner: Well, you sent me an email on a couple that, or three of them that kind of go over the top. Two from Extang and one from Retrax.

Shaun: Okay.

GMC Sierra Owner: But I think from looking at those and kind of figuring it out, I think we're more in line to do one of the covers that, what do you call it? Low profile? The one that's not on top of the bed, it's in the bed.

Shaun: The tri-fold.

GMC Sierra Owner: The tri-fold. Tri-fold or a roll up, but it looks like the roll ups cost a heck of a lot more.

Shaun: Correct, yeah the Retrax, the aluminum version, which is one with the life-time warranty on it. That one costs more. Are you wanting to get a BakFlip or something like that?

GMC Sierra Owner: Yeah, I'm thinking so. The email I got a couple of weeks ago had the BAKFlip MX4. I like that one. And I was kind of Googling it last night and checking out some reviews. Apparently, folks like it, except that they say it scratches pretty easily.

Shaun: Alright, the one you're going to want, if you're going for the tri-fold, the one you're going to want is UnderCover Armor Flex. It's got LINE-X on it. You can't scratch that cover.

GMC Sierra Owner: Got you. And is it a matte black or a shiny black?

Shaun: Matte black.

GMC Sierra Owner: Okay, and it's pretty good on the water spilling off? Here it is. They're all about the same aren't they, when it comes to that?

Shaun: Yeah, and this one's actually got a five-year warranty instead of a three.

GMC Sierra Owner: Oh, okay, yeah if you could shoot me that one in an email I'll take a look.

Shaun: Okay, I'm going to send you the actual order form. All you got to do if you want to go ahead and do it is click proceed with that.

What Should I Know Before Installing an Undercover Ultra Flex on My 2017 Dodge Ram?

Dodge Ram Owner: I am interested in ordering a tonneau cover for a 2017 Dodge Ram with a 5 foot, seven inch bed.

Peter: Okay.

Dodge Ram Owner: I'm looking for the UnderCover Ultra Flex. I'm looking at the email that you sent back to me.

Peter: Okay. Yeah, I've got it. It's free shipping and there's no sales tax if you're ordering from outside of Arizona.

Dodge Ram Owner: Okay. That is the one that... Let me read the email, because you sent me this email a while back, like in December. Yeah, it goes five foot, seven inch UnderCover Ultra Flex. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's the one. Okay, do you need my credit card or something for that?

Peter: Yeah. I can get you going here. I'm going to get this shipped out today.

Dodge Ram Owner: Okay. Is there anything I should know before I try to install the cover?

Peter: Yes, before you install it, just make sure that nothing was damaged in shipping.

Dodge Ram Owner: Okay. Is it common to find damage on a tonneau cover when it arrives?

Peter: It's really rare for that to happen, but it does happen occassionally. But if anything were damaged, don't install it. Just call me, we'll take care of it.

What is the Best Waterproof Tonneau Cover for a 2019 Dodge Ram Classic?

Dodge Ram Owner: Hey, I've received multiple emails from you on tonneau covers with quotes.

Peter: Okay.

Dodge Ram Owner: I've got a 2019 Dodge Ram Classic, which is the same thing as a 2018.

Peter: Right.

Dodge Ram Owner: With a five foot seven short bed crewcab, 1500 half ton. I'm not sure if I want a one-piece, an Undercover SE, or I'm also considering a LOMAX hard tri-fold. I'm assuming you guys sell both?

Peter: We do. Yeah. It's free shipping and there's no sales tax if you're ordering from outside of Arizona. Let me see about the SE. That's more of a custom quote.

Dodge Ram Owner: Let me ask you something, because I am just not sure which one of these things I want. And the reason is is because I really need the bed to stay dry. I like the looks of the LOMAX. I like the ability to be able to take it off of there fairly easily if you want to haul something. But I certainly like the weatherproof features of the SE because it's a one-piece cover with edges that kind of roll over the side and it's going to be difficult to make it leak, I think.

Peter: Yeah, that's waterproof. Yeah. That's actually... The LOMAX you consider water-resistant.

Dodge Ram Owner: Yeah. I mean, have you sold very many LOMAX?

Peter: Yeah. I mean, I quite frankly, I don't hear bad things about it at all. I never get complaints about it or anything like that. So, I imagine it does seal pretty well.

Dodge Ram Owner: I mean, everything I read, most of the reviews are positive. There's been a few negative ones, but most of them seem to be... I don't know, a year to two years ago they had a different seal arrangement on there that apparently they've changed or something.

Peter: Right.

Dodge Ram Owner: Or they had a batch of bad seals that came from a vendor or something. Depends on what you're reading and where you're reading it. But, so what would... Have you got a price on an SE?

Peter: Yeah, I do. I sent it in an email quote just now.

Dodge Ram Owner: Why is that the same price as everybody else? All of your other prices are competitive.

Peter: Yes, it's because it has to come on a freight truck because of its size and weight. So yeah, it's not as competitive.

Dodge Ram Owner: Okay well I'm going to think on this some more. I just wanted to know if this was a good cover or not.

Peter: Got you. Sure, just give me a call if you have any other questions!
