What is The Best Retractable Cover Out There?

F250 Owner: I'm calling about a tonneau cover for a 2017 Ford F250 with the short bed.

Peter: Which cover were you looking at?

F250 Owner: The Retrax Pro MX, but what other brands do you guys sell?

Peter: We sell pretty much all of the major Tonneau brands, BAK, Undercover, Extang, Truxedo, Roll-N-Lock. Pretty much all of them. There are a few we don't, we don't sell Gator.

F250 Owner: They don't seem that great anyway.

Peter: Yeah. That's about it, we sell pretty much all the big ones.

F250 Owner: So in your opinion, what is the best retractable cover out there?

Peter: We're talking about it right now. It's the Retrax Pro MX. Yeah, it's the only one I know with a lifetime warranty, too.

F250 Owner: Is that through the manufacturer or how does that work?

Peter: It is, yeah. And they cover pretty much everything. I mean they want to keep you a customer for life. So I mean, shorter view, jumping up and down on it and they'll pretty much cover everything.

F250 Owner: Okay. If and when the time comes, I'll definitely be giving you a call.

Peter: Sounds good.

How Do I Order the RetraxPRO XR With the T-slot Integrated Rails for My 2018 Chevy Silverado?

Peter: I just got your email here. I just saw you placed your order a few minutes ago for the RetraxPRO

Tonneau Covered Customer: Yes.

Peter: You were wanting the RetraxPRO XR with the T-slot integrated rails?

Tonneau Covered Customer: Yeah. I thought the it had that. It was a slip or whatever on my end.

Peter: Okay, no problem. Give me just a second here. So the price is it's a hundred dollars more for the XR. Is that okay?

Tonneau Covered Customer: That's fine. Yeah.

Peter: Okay. Give me just a second here. Okay, and it was for, was an 2018 Silverado short bed?

Tonneau Covered Customer: Yes. Can you do the adjustment on your end, or do you got to resend that over to invoice me?

Peter: No, I can take care of it here real quick.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Okay, great. Appreciate the help. That's the same cover just with the rails for the cliffs?

Peter: That's right.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Yeah. Yep. Perfect.

What is the Best Scratch Resistant Waterproof Tonneau Cover for a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500?

GMC Sierra Owner: I have a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 5'8 bed, and I need a tonneau cover.

Shaun: What kind of cover were you looking at?

GMC Sierra Owner: Well, you sent me an email on a couple that, or three of them that kind of go over the top. Two from Extang and one from Retrax.

Shaun: Okay.

GMC Sierra Owner: But I think from looking at those and kind of figuring it out, I think we're more in line to do one of the covers that, what do you call it? Low profile? The one that's not on top of the bed, it's in the bed.

Shaun: The tri-fold.

GMC Sierra Owner: The tri-fold. Tri-fold or a roll up, but it looks like the roll ups cost a heck of a lot more.

Shaun: Correct, yeah the Retrax, the aluminum version, which is one with the life-time warranty on it. That one costs more. Are you wanting to get a BakFlip or something like that?

GMC Sierra Owner: Yeah, I'm thinking so. The email I got a couple of weeks ago had the BAKFlip MX4. I like that one. And I was kind of Googling it last night and checking out some reviews. Apparently, folks like it, except that they say it scratches pretty easily.

Shaun: Alright, the one you're going to want, if you're going for the tri-fold, the one you're going to want is UnderCover Armor Flex. It's got LINE-X on it. You can't scratch that cover.

GMC Sierra Owner: Got you. And is it a matte black or a shiny black?

Shaun: Matte black.

GMC Sierra Owner: Okay, and it's pretty good on the water spilling off? Here it is. They're all about the same aren't they, when it comes to that?

Shaun: Yeah, and this one's actually got a five-year warranty instead of a three.

GMC Sierra Owner: Oh, okay, yeah if you could shoot me that one in an email I'll take a look.

Shaun: Okay, I'm going to send you the actual order form. All you got to do if you want to go ahead and do it is click proceed with that.

What's the Difference Between the Retrax Covers for a 2019 Chevy Silverado?

Silverado Owner: Yes, sir. I found you on the Internet. I want to see about a a tonneau cover for a 2019 Chevy Silverado.

Peter: Okay. Which cover were you looking at?

Silverado Owner: I think the Retrax PRO MX.

Peter: Okay, nice. What's the bed length?

Silverado Owner: Five eight bed.

Peter: Got the Retrax Pro MX with free shipping. No sales tax if you order from outside of Arizona.

Silverado Owner: Let me ask you, what's the difference between that one? They sell a couple of different ones, and one's a composite and one's aluminum. And besides one's metal and one's not, what's the difference between those Retrax covers?

Peter: That is the difference. So they sell three really. So there's the polycarbonate, so the plastic. Then they have the aluminum. There's a difference in warranty as well. The plastic has a one year warranty. The aluminum has their legendary Lifetime Warranty. It holds up really well. It's super heavy duty and it holds 500 pounds on top. So it's a much more durable cover. And then they make the XR, which is, it has the tee slotted rails that you can add Yakima racks and stuff like that.

Silverado Owner: Oh yeah. I don't need that. Okay. Well let me get back with you. How long does it take to ship, or how long would it take to get here?

Peter: Usually receive it between five and seven days from when you order.

Silverado Owner: Okay. Okay. All right. Thank you very much. I appreciate the information.

Peter: Okay. Talk to you soon. Thanks.

How Do I Know if I Need Wide Rail, Standard Rails or Standard Rails With Stake Pocket Cut Outs on my Retrax Cover for my 2016 Chevy High Country?

Chevy Owner: I got a quote from you guys for Retrax.

Shawn: Okay. Are you looking to place an order?

Chevy Owner: Yeah. Just got to make sure I'm getting the right one from you.

Shawn: Chevy Owner, what kind of truck do you have, my friend?

Chevy Owner: A 2016 Chevy High Country 2500.

Shawn: Okay. And you want the Pro Series?

Chevy Owner: No. Just the regular one.

Shawn: Just the one? Okay. MX or shiny?

Chevy Owner: The flatter looking one.

Shawn: Okay, matte black? And then wide rail, standard rails or standard rails with stake pocket cut-outs?

Chevy Owner: So, that's where I'm not sure what I need, to be honest with you.

Shawn: Okay. Well, let me ask you this, do you use your stake pockets for anything?

Chevy Owner: No. I guess I don't really have any use for stake pockets.

Shawn: Do you care if the rail doesn't cover your truck bed rails entirely?

Chevy Owner: No, I really don't care if the bed rails are covered. Actually, the little pocket holes there I do sometimes try to use them for tie downs. So, I mean, I guess if they're not covered that'd be better for me.

Shawn: Yeah. It is a little bit more for the cut-outs, but to be honest with you, you can do it with a dremel in your garage.

Chevy Owner: Yeah. Let's just... yeah, I'll stick with the regular one. It's fine.

Shawn: Okay.

Chevy Owner: I have tie down points in the bed, too, and all over the place. So, I'm good.

Shawn: Yeah, you won't void your warranty on your cover either because it's just the rails, so.

Chevy Owner: Okay. Let's go ahead and do it.

Shawn: Very cool. Everything's good to go. I will place this with Retrax now and you should see it within five to seven business days.

What is The Retrax XR and is it a Good Option For My 2015 Ford F-150?

Ford F-150 Owner: I received your quote on the Retrax cover. Let's go with that.

Shawn: 2015 Ford F-150 with a short bed, correct?

Ford F-150 Owner: Yep.

Shawn: Okay. You know what? And you want the PRO MX, right?

Ford F-150 Owner: Yeah, the matte black one.

Shawn: Would you ever see yourself using a set of load bars?

Ford F-150 Owner: No.

Shawn: No? Not even if they're free?

Ford F-150 Owner: No, probably not. We tend to use the truck more as just an urban assault vehicle, not for actually hauling and carrying stuff.

Shawn: Okay. Okay. Well, I was just asking because they have a promotion right now if you buy the XR, which is $100 more, you get the rack for free. It's a $500 rack.

Ford F-150 Owner: What is the Retrax XR?

Shawn: It's the RetraxPRO MX essentially, but it has a different set of rails that include a T-slot, so you can put accessories in it.

Ford F-150 Owner: Yeah, no. I prefer the low-profile without that T-slot on it. So, while it's a great idea, and a nice set of rails, I can't see myself actually carrying anything on those rails.

Shawn: I understand. Let's see here. RetraxPRO MX and that is the standard without stake pocket holes, correct?

Ford F-150 Owner: Correct.

Shawn: All right, man. I'll get this shipped out as quickly as possible.
