How Do I Know if I Need Wide Rail, Standard Rails or Standard Rails With Stake Pocket Cut Outs on my Retrax Cover for my 2016 Chevy High Country?
Chevy Owner: I got a quote from you guys for Retrax.
Shawn: Okay. Are you looking to place an order?Chevy Owner: Yeah. Just got to make sure I'm getting the right one from you.
Shawn: Chevy Owner, what kind of truck do you have, my friend?Chevy Owner: A 2016 Chevy High Country 2500.
Shawn: Okay. And you want the Pro Series?Chevy Owner: No. Just the regular one.
Shawn: Just the one? Okay. MX or shiny?Chevy Owner: The flatter looking one.
Shawn: Okay, matte black? And then wide rail, standard rails or standard rails with stake pocket cut-outs?Chevy Owner: So, that's where I'm not sure what I need, to be honest with you.
Shawn: Okay. Well, let me ask you this, do you use your stake pockets for anything?Chevy Owner: No. I guess I don't really have any use for stake pockets.
Shawn: Do you care if the rail doesn't cover your truck bed rails entirely?Chevy Owner: No, I really don't care if the bed rails are covered. Actually, the little pocket holes there I do sometimes try to use them for tie downs. So, I mean, I guess if they're not covered that'd be better for me.
Shawn: Yeah. It is a little bit more for the cut-outs, but to be honest with you, you can do it with a dremel in your garage.Chevy Owner: Yeah. Let's just... yeah, I'll stick with the regular one. It's fine.
Shawn: Okay.Chevy Owner: I have tie down points in the bed, too, and all over the place. So, I'm good.
Shawn: Yeah, you won't void your warranty on your cover either because it's just the rails, so.Chevy Owner: Okay. Let's go ahead and do it.
Shawn: Very cool. Everything's good to go. I will place this with Retrax now and you should see it within five to seven business days.- Aubrey Lovegrove
