How Do I Know if I Need Wide Rail, Standard Rails or Standard Rails With Stake Pocket Cut Outs on my Retrax Cover for my 2016 Chevy High Country?
Chevy Owner: I got a quote from you guys for Retrax.Shawn: Okay. Are you looking to place an order?
Chevy Owner: Yeah. Just got to make sure I'm getting the right one from you.Shawn: Chevy Owner, what kind of truck do you have, my friend?
Chevy Owner: A 2016 Chevy High Country 2500.Shawn: Okay. And you want the Pro Series?
Chevy Owner: No. Just the regular one.Shawn: Just the one? Okay. MX or shiny?
Chevy Owner: The flatter looking one.Shawn: Okay, matte black? And then wide rail, standard rails or standard rails with stake pocket cut-outs?
Chevy Owner: So, that's where I'm not sure what I need, to be honest with you.Shawn: Okay. Well, let me ask you this, do you use your stake pockets for anything?
Chevy Owner: No. I guess I don't really have any use for stake pockets.Shawn: Do you care if the rail doesn't cover your truck bed rails entirely?
Chevy Owner: No, I really don't care if the bed rails are covered. Actually, the little pocket holes there I do sometimes try to use them for tie downs. So, I mean, I guess if they're not covered that'd be better for me.Shawn: Yeah. It is a little bit more for the cut-outs, but to be honest with you, you can do it with a dremel in your garage.
Chevy Owner: Yeah. Let's just... yeah, I'll stick with the regular one. It's fine.Shawn: Okay.
Chevy Owner: I have tie down points in the bed, too, and all over the place. So, I'm good.Shawn: Yeah, you won't void your warranty on your cover either because it's just the rails, so.
Chevy Owner: Okay. Let's go ahead and do it.Shawn: Very cool. Everything's good to go. I will place this with Retrax now and you should see it within five to seven business days.
Can I Use Tie-Down Cleats With a Tonneau Cover?
Tonneau Covered Customer: Yeah I just want to ask you is there tie-down cleats that come with this tonneau cover at all?Peter: No.
Tonneau Covered Customer: So you can't have cleats or anything?Peter: You might be able to use tie-down cleats, but the cover doesn't come with it.
Tonneau Covered Customer: Okay. If I cut out the stakeholders it won't leak anything will it? Because they're covered with those? I know that it comes without it so, it doesn't make any different does it?Peter: No it doesn't.
Tonneau Covered Customer: Okay, so I can actually put cleats on the back, on the side ends? Is there enough room where the rails are to put them on?Peter: I think you'd have to modify it yourself. At that point, I couldn't tell you for sure, unfortunately.
Tonneau Covered Customer: Oh, okay. Because I know that frame where the rail is comes over onto the stakeholder, right?Peter: Right.
Tonneau Covered Customer: So, okay. So I can put probably some cleats where that cover is. You know, from the outside.Peter: Right.
Tonneau Covered Customer: Okay. Appreciate it, thanks.

Toyota Tundra Owner: It's for a 2019 Toyota Tundra double cab with the six and a half foot bed.
Peter: Okay. Were we talking this afternoon on email?
Toyota Tundra Owner: No, I think you sent an email, but I actually didn't send you an email. I guess I must have filled out the form on your site? I put my email address in your site, and it came up with an offer.
Peter: Okay. Yeah, I can honor that price. Also, it's free shipping and there's no sales tax if you're ordering from outside of Arizona.
Toyota Tundra Owner: And you'll throw in that tailgate seal kit for the tailgate?
