What is The Best Retractable Cover Out There?

F250 Owner: I'm calling about a tonneau cover for a 2017 Ford F250 with the short bed.

Peter: Which cover were you looking at?

F250 Owner: The Retrax Pro MX, but what other brands do you guys sell?

Peter: We sell pretty much all of the major Tonneau brands, BAK, Undercover, Extang, Truxedo, Roll-N-Lock. Pretty much all of them. There are a few we don't, we don't sell Gator.

F250 Owner: They don't seem that great anyway.

Peter: Yeah. That's about it, we sell pretty much all the big ones.

F250 Owner: So in your opinion, what is the best retractable cover out there?

Peter: We're talking about it right now. It's the Retrax Pro MX. Yeah, it's the only one I know with a lifetime warranty, too.

F250 Owner: Is that through the manufacturer or how does that work?

Peter: It is, yeah. And they cover pretty much everything. I mean they want to keep you a customer for life. So I mean, shorter view, jumping up and down on it and they'll pretty much cover everything.

F250 Owner: Okay. If and when the time comes, I'll definitely be giving you a call.

Peter: Sounds good.

What Kind of Weight Rating Does The Trax Rail System on The Retrax ONE XR Have?

Ford Owner: I was wanting to get some information on a rolling bed cover?

Tonneau Covered Agent: Okay. Retrax?

Ford Owner: Yes, Retrax. The RetraxONE MX tonneau cover.

Tonneau Covered Agent: What kind of truck is it?

Ford Owner: A 2018 Ford F250 with the 6 foot 9 bed.

Tonneau Covered Agent: Let me ask you this: do you ever see yourself using a rack on that tonneau cover? Because the Retrax ONE XR has a Trax Rail System.

Ford Owner: Well, you know, I was wondering that same thing when I saw there was a Trax Rail System option for that one. How much is the price difference?

Tonneau Covered Agent: 100 extra bucks, but you get a $500 set of load bars for it through the 30th of this month with the current rebate.

Ford Owner: Okay. What kind of weight rating do they handle in the track system?

Tonneau Covered Agent: The weight rating in the track system? I know the cover itself is 500. The track system, I might say that you're the only person I've had ask me that so far.

Ford Owner: Is it up higher on that one with the track system, or is it exactly the same other than it's got the track in it?

Tonneau Covered Agent: You know, I've not seen them in person, but comparing them to the pictures, they look very similar, if not maybe an extra half inch on that rail, or on the slotted one.

Ford Owner: Okay. That was another thing I was wondering about it.

Tonneau Covered Agent: Yeah, a quarter of an inch or a half inch, somewhere around there. I'm not seeing a weight rating for it, but since it's directly on your rails themselves and not pushing on the cover, I would safely say 6-700 pounds. I don't know what you're going to put on there that's going to be that much. I think at that point, I'd be worried about the rack breaking, right?

Ford Owner: That could be. So, who manufactures the rack that goes into the track?

Tonneau Covered Agent: Yakima.

Ford Owner: Okay, it's not Rhino Rack, it's Yakima.

Tonneau Covered Agent: Right, but you can get any one with a T-slot: Yakima, Tully, Rhino Rack

Ford Owner: Okay, well, why don't you price them out and I'll try to decide what I want to do.

Tonneau Covered Agent: Okay. I'll send you a couple emails here with some quotes. Just let us know what you want to do. You can call us back and we can help you, or you can just complete it through the email.

Ford Owner: Okay. Then, the warranty, is that handled through your site, or is that handled right from the manufacturer?

Tonneau Covered Agent: It is a manufacturer's warranty, but should you have any issues, you let us know and we'll start the conversation with you guys and help you out.

What Information is Needed to Order an Access Toolbox Tonneau Cover for a 2013 Ford F250

Ford F250 Owner: Hi, I sent in an email yesterday for a quote for an Access Toolbox Edition tonneau cover for a 2013 Ford F250.

Peter: Okay. And what was the bed length?

Ford F250 Owner: 6'8", I believe.

Peter: Okay. Let me see. Give me just a moment here. Do you know the dimensions of the toolbox?

Ford F250 Owner: I want to say it's 18 to 20 wide.

Peter: Okay. So it's a standard toolbox?

Ford F250 Owner: Yeah. Because they only work up to 21 inches wide, I believe, for that Access Toolbox cover?

Peter: Right, right. Okay, so, that sounds good. And then did we send you a quote?

Ford F250 Owner: Yes. With free shipping, and no sales tax outside of Arizona?

Peter: Correct. Did you want to get that ordered today?

Ford F250 Owner: I do. Yeah. Looks like the toolbox is 20 inches wide.

Peter: Okay.

Ford F250 Owner: Just another quick question, it did say on that email that you also get a free gift, the tailgate seal kit. Is that included, or no?

Peter: It is, but it will come from our office here in Arizona. So it'll arrive separately.

Ford F250 Owner: All right, great. Thank you very much.
