How Long Does a BAKFlip MX4 for a Honda Ridgeline Take to Ship?

Ridgeline Owner: Hi Peter. I entered my email for a price for the BAKFlip MX4.

Peter: Okay. And what truck is it for?

Ridgeline Owner: For a 2019 Honda Ridgeline.

Peter: Okay. Did we send you a quote?

Ridgeline Owner: I got an email that says, "Ask me about my free gift." I never got a quote.

Peter: Oh, okay. Sorry about that. I just sent you a quote. It's also free shipping. And there's no sales tax since you're ordering it from outside of Arizona. And I can also include our Tailgate Seal Kit for free with your purchase.

Ridgeline Owner: How long does it typically take to arrive?

Peter: About five to seven days.

Ridgeline Owner: I'm going to put in my order right now. Can you take an order?

Peter: Sure, yeah, I'll get you going here. Also, just so you know, the Tailgate Seal Kit is going to come from our office in Arizona, so it's going to arrive separately. But I'll get everything on the way here. You'll receive an email confirmation here in just a second. There we go. And you are all set. You're good to go.

Do I Have to Wait for My Tailgate Seal Kit to Install My Tonneau Cover?

Tonneau Covered Customer: I received my tonneau cover and I was told the waterproof kit seal, or the tailgate seal kit, would be sent with my order and I didn't receive it.

Peter: It ships separately, and it comes from our office here in Arizona, so, let me pull it up here. So yeah, it's on the way, it comes US Postal Service.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Okay.

Peter: And so, you can install the cover first, that's fine, but yeah I see it here, it's on the way, but you're in New Jersey, so it's going to take a second.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Okay, so I don't have to wait for the tailgate seal kit to install my tonneau cover?

Peter: Correct. You can install the cover first and then just add the tailgate seal once it arrives.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Okay, thank you. The only thing that I find out was that when I install it, I have to pull the thing right on the edge in the front, because it seemed to be a half inch short at first.  But I think it will work out just fine. It looks nice.

Peter: Okay, great! Well that tailgate seal kit should be there soon.

How Do I Check on Shipping on My Tailgate Seal?

Tonneau Covered Customer: I spoke to you about a month, it was probably a month ago. I had ordered a tonneau cover from you guys. It was supposed to come with a tailgate seal.

Peter: Let's see what's going on here.

Tonneau Covered Customer: It didn't show up. I called roughly about a month ago, and you said, "I'll have another one shipped to you." That one hasn't shown up either.

Peter: Okay. The second one was returned for some reason. Let me make sure we've got everything right here. I'm gonna change my shipping method here. When the second one was returned, they should have notified me and they didn't. So I'm changing the shipping method and there we go. I'll have it sent out right now.

Peter: Yeah. Sorry about the inconvenience there.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Well that's not a problem. It hasn't been any inconvenience. Because I only use the truck pretty much in spring, summer, fall to go camping.

Will I My Tonneau Cover and Tailgate Seal be Shipped at the Same Time?

Tonneau Cover Customer: Hi. I ordered a tonneau cover from you on Monday.

Peter: Okay.

Tonneau Cover Customer: I was trying to track the cover, but it says it hasn't shipped yet. I was gonna see if you could double check on that for me and potentially if you know when it would arrive.

Peter: Yeah, it doesn't always update live. It probably has shipped if you ordered on Monday. I'll have to request it from the manufacturer.

Tonneau Cover Customer: It's not too big a deal. I figured it has been done already, but with the tracking, it says it hasn't shipped, so I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't on backorder or something like that.

Peter: No, it's in stock.

Tonneau Cover Customer: Oh, perfect. I had briefly talked to somebody yesterday. I received an email about getting a free tailgate seal with the order of the tonneau cover after I had ordered.

Peter: Yes.

Tonneau Cover Customer: Okay. Do I need that tailgate seal to install the bedrail on the tonneau?


Peter: No it's not required for the installation. In fact, that's coming from our office here in Arizona, so the tailgate seal will arrive separately. 


Tonneau Cover Customer: All right. I appreciate it. Like I said, it's not too big a deal. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't some backorder or something like that. I'm kind of expecting to see it in about seven days or so, correct?


Peter: Right.
