Is There a Price Difference Between the BAKFlip F1 and the MX4?
Ram Owner: I talked to you earlier and you mentioned that BAKflip tonneau cover. I was looking at that MX4. What's the difference between the MX4 and F1? I have a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500.
Peter: It's just the material they're made of. So the MX4 is aluminum and the F1 is a fiberglass reinforced polymer. So it, in theory, can stand up to denting a little bit better than the aluminum.Ram Owner: Is there a price difference between the F1 and the MX4?
Peter: Yeah about a $10 difference.Ram Owner: Is that like a matte black finish or is that a shiny black finish?
Peter: It's kind of in-between. I wouldn't call it a high gloss and it's not a matte. It's kind of in-between.Ram Owner: Okay. Alrighty. Well, I'm going to try to go home tonight and I'm going to measure my truck bed. I think that's the route I'm going to go. I think I also want that Bed Tread Impact Mat. Unless there was another one there that you can tell me is any different or any better there.
Peter: I really like that one. I've sold a lot of them recently. I've had customers review it very highly, so I've got a lot of confidence in that one.
