Are There Any Issues When Cleaning a Soft Tonneau Cover?

Ford F250 Owner: I put in some information yesterday regarding a Tonneau Cover, received an email with a price on it. I wanted to go ahead and order that, but how do I make sure I get that price?

Sean: What kind of Tonneau Cover was it?

Ford F250 Owner: It's a TuXedo Lo Pro Qt.

Sean: What's the vehicle?

Ford F250 Owner: 2019 Ford F-250

Sean: All right, I see the quote here, so I'm going to send you an email. Basically what you'll do is you will click complete purchase. It'll run you through the steps to put your shipping and billing address in, and then it'll ask for payment, and you'll go ahead and make payment through there.

Ford F250 Owner: Just one question, just before I complete this one. They make another one called an X... It's called an XXT or something like that? It's basically the same Tonneau Cover with like a soft top on it instead of a vinyl. I don't know if you're familiar with that. X15 it's called.

Sean: Yeah, the Pro X15?

Ford F250 Owner: Yeah. Is that just a $30 difference?

Sean: Correct.

Ford F250 Owner: I don't suppose you have any inside as to whether people have had issues with cleaning that soft cover or anything like that would you?

Sean: No. The Lo Pros... Which one are you talking about? The Pro X or the Lo Pro?

Ford F250 Owner: The Pro X. I had the Lo Pro before on another truck and I had no problem, but it was a vinyl cover, you know? This other one is like... It's vinyl with cloth over the top of it.

Sean: Right. Yeah, it's fabric. I've not heard of any issues cleaning it or anything like that, but it's not going to be as easy to clean as the vinyl cover for sure.

Ford F250 Owner: I think I'm just going to stick with this one. I know it works. I've had one before.

Sean: Okay. Well great, man. Like I said, if you find anything else you need, or if you have any other questions, give us a call. We'll take care of you.

Where Can I Find Bundled Pricing Discounts on Accessories for My 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty Lariat?

Tim: I'm looking to purchase a tonneau cover. And I had called for a quote and you had sent a quote back. And you had just sent me an email here yesterday and I'm just following up.

Peter: Okay, what truck is it for?

Tim: It is for a 2016 Ford 250 Super Duty Lariat. And I was leaning on the TruXedo Lo Pro.

Peter: And what's the bed length?

Tim: It should be that, what 6 foot 8.

Peter: Okay, gotcha. It's free shipping and no sales tax.

Tim: Boy, that's a deal and then a deal! What else are you guys selling there? It said that you had all kinds of products.

Peter: Yeah, we have a variety of accessories available for your truck. We don't advertise everything on our site, but even if you were on a different website, just grab a part number, let me know, I'll beat their price anyway. I'll get you a good deal.

Tim: Cause what I was looking for is a gooseneck hatch. Part number 60683. Can you do bundled pricing discounts?

Peter: Yup, we've got that part here. And I'm sure we can work something out.

Tim: Okay, I'll keep that in mind. I'll keep you guys in mind the next time I'm looking for stuff for my truck. I'll just stick with the cover for now.

Peter: Okay, yeah, all right, let me know. I'll get the cover shipped out right away.

Best Low Profile Tonneau Cover for a Ford F350

Ford F-350 Owner: I have a Ford F350 which previously had a Truck Gear Tonneau cover that was just a roll up. I was looking for something that would be flat, that would get pretty much even with the bedrails themselves, and that would be retractable. I don't necessarily need power. Is there something like that?

Peter: Are you looking for retractable cover or another roll-up cover?

Ford F-350 Owner: I can go either way. Retractable is nice where it just kind of shoves itself up, but whatever works I'm, happy with.

Peter: Okay. We're just talking about a huge difference in like price and quality when we're talking about a retractable and a roll up. The retractables are going to sit flush inside the bedrail, so it's not going to sit on top. Is this an eight foot bed?

Ford F-350 Owner: It's a 6 and a half foot bed.

Peter: Okay.

Ford F-350 Owner: It's the Super Crew, so it's not the full eight.

Peter: Okay, so I mean with retractables you're going to have a lot of different options ranging from from Roll N Lock to Retrax. I mean those can start anywhere from around $1200 and go up from there. It just depends on which model you're looking at. The soft roll up covers one like the TuxEdo Lo Pro, can start from anywhere between $270 and go up to maybe $500 or so.

Ford F-350 Owner: Okay, well the one that I have cost me somewhere around the $500 range but it doesn't sit level with the bedrail. The Velcro attaching part of it is about an inch above the bedrail.

Peter: Right. So the TruxEdo Lo Pro sits pretty much flush inside the bedrail. It sits up maybe half an inch but it's very low profile. It's the most low profile soft roll up out there. Plus it's free shipping and no sales tax.

Ford F-350 Owner: Okay, and is that fairly durable for the type that it is? Understanding that it doesn't lock but when I close the bedrail you can't just pull it open?

Peter: That's correct. And its very durable, it's got a lifetime warranty, so it's going to hold up well for years.

Ford F-350 Owner: Does it have the clamps that go in along the inside of the bedrail?

Peter: Yes.

Ford F-350 Owner: Okay. Now does it need a rubber seal anywhere around the front?

Peter: All of the appropriate gaskets are included.

Ford F-350 Owner: Okay. And is this cover very simple to put together and install?

Peter: It is.

Ford F-350 Owner: Well, let me get that information written down. I can give you a call back on this. How quick is the delivery on that if I choose to do that?

Peter: It's about five days.

Ford F-350 Owner: Let me take a few minutes and compare tonneau covers and I'll decide what I want to do.

Peter: Sounds good.
