Will a Dashboard Cover Prevent the Heat Inside My 2006 Chevy Trailblazer 4X4?

Chevy Trailblazer Owner: Yes, so I want to order a dashboard cover for my Chevy Trailblazer.

Peter: Got it.

Chevy Trailblazer Owner: But, tell me a little more about this car that was covered. Like, a 100% will it prevent the heat inside?

Peter: Well, I mean heat's still going to get in the car, but it's not going to damage the dashboard cover, or the dashboard.

Chevy Trailblazer Owner: Right. Okay, because the covering is leather and you know with the heat of the sponge it builds up a lot of heat.

Peter: Right.

Chevy Trailblazer Owner: So, how much of a percentage are you sure that it's not going to let heat in there?

Peter: I mean, it's not going to necessary lessen the heat. It's just not going to be able to damage the dashboard.

Chevy Trailblazer Owner: Okay. I got it now.

Peter: Yeah. What color did you want?

Chevy Trailblazer Owner: So, the outside is a sort of reddish color and inside is black.

Peter: Okay.

Chevy Trailblazer Owner: So, I think like a gray. Not a light gray, a little darker gray.

Peter: Okay, I know what you need here. Okay.

Chevy Trailblazer Owner: But, you know not a dark, dark gray that you're going to get a reflection on the glass.

Peter: Okay. No, I know what color you mean.

Chevy Trailblazer Owner: Okay. It's for a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer 4X4. How long will that take to ship to me?

Peter: A week.

Chevy Trailblazer Owner: Where will the cover be shipping from?

Peter: Arizona.

Chevy Trailblazer Owner: Okay. I told you my daughter would order three dashboard covers for their vehicles, but she's out of town. So, when she gets back, she will order those.

Peter: Alright, I placed your order. You're going to get a confirmation email here in just a second, and then allow a week for delivery.

Are Dashboard Covers Custom Made for My Vehicle?

Trailblazer Owner: I want to just find out something about a dashboard cover.

Peter: Okay.


Trailblazer Owner: It's for a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer, a four by four. And the dashcover is custom-made for my vehicle, right?

Peter: Yes.

Trailblazer Owner: I saw it on somebody's vehicle and this is where I got your number from.

Peter: 2006. What color would you want it in?

Trailblazer Owner: I think my interior is gray. So let's go with that. 

Peter: Okay. It's free shipping and no sales tax.

Trailblazer Owner: And these dashcovers prevent a lot of heat?

Peter: Yes.

Trailblazer Owner: Okay. You have different fabric?

Peter: The one I'm quoting is the most popular.

Trailblazer Owner: Okay I may order three because my daughter has a BMW, and then they have a Jeep. And my son has a BMW also. So I think three of them will need one each.
