What Material is the Bedrug Made Out Of?

Ram Owner: I spoke with you earlier about the 2017 Ram 1500. You had mentioned you could get a mat from Bedrug. Which particular mat is it that you can get?

Peter: I carry their whole line.

Ram Owner: Oh, really? Okay. I'm looking at here, it's called a Bedrug or Bed Tread Impact Bed Mat.

Peter: Okay. Let's see. Did you just want the mat or do you want to cover the tailgate too?

Ram Owner: Yeah, well I guess this one comes with the tailgate also.

Peter: Actually, yeah. I think you're right. Yeah. Yes it does. Okay. Yeah, I've got that one.

Ram Owner: What is that material that the Bedrug is made out of?

Peter: It's like a anti-skid TPO composite. It's probably like a really kind of durable mix of rubber and plastic. But yeah, this is a newer product, but it's starting to really grow in popularity as it gets more reviews.

Ram Owner: Okay. And can you tell if that mat or the divider there for the tailgate, does that always stay in place?

Peter: It does.

Ram Owner: Okay. Okay. So I've got to check my bed length. I think it is a five seven but I want to make sure.

Peter: Okay. Sounds good. Feel free to give me a call back later on.

What's a Truck Bed Mat That's Comparable to the Access Mat?

Dodge Ram Owner: I just received a quote from you guys for a tonneau cover and I got a couple of questions regarding it.

Peter: Okay.

Dodge Ram Owner: It was for the Lomax, Access Lomax.

Peter: Okay.

Dodge Ram Owner: You quoted me a price, but is that including the shipping?

Peter: Yeah, it's free shipping and there's no sales tax.

Dodge Ram Owner: No sales tax. What can you do for the bed liner? There's an Access truck bed mat for that same truck. Do you guys offer bulk discounts on your truck accessories?

Peter: Let me see. What truck is it for?

Dodge Ram Owner: It's a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5'7 bed.

Peter: Okay, no Ram boxes?

Dodge Ram Owner: No Ram boxes.

Peter: Okay. The truck bed mat, let's see. I actually do not carry that mat, unfortunately.

Dodge Ram Owner: The Access truck bed mat? What's a truck bed mat that's comparable to the Access one?

Peter: I'm not really familiar with that as we don't sell it, but a popular choice is the DeeZee heavyweight rubber mat. It's a little bit thicker than your average mat. That one goes for $95, and it's a custom fit.

Dodge Ram Owner: Okay, so is there a possibility you could order the Access truck mat.

Peter: No, unfortunately not, no.

Dodge Ram Owner: Okay, alrighty. But the only thing you've got for a truck mat is going to be that hard rubber mat, then?

Peter: That's right, or a Bedrug bed mat.

Dodge Ram Owner: Bedrug, that's what I was talking about. What's the Bed Rug?

Peter: Okay, Bed Rug. It's a brand and it feels like a really thin carpet, but it's actually made of a plastic so it's really durable.

Dodge Ram Owner: Can I see this online?

Peter: Yeah, bedrug.com right there. They've got a few different types of them and they have liners as well.

Dodge Ram Owner: Okay, I can look at that and then I can purchase that through you if I want to go that route, too? If so, I'll get back to you later today.

Peter: Yeah, absolutely. You can call me any time.

Should I Install a Tonneau Cover Before or After I Get a Spray Liner in My 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500?

Silverado Owner: I'd like to place an order. I'm in Hawaii and your shipping was about one third of the price. From the factory.

Shawn: Oh really? Did you try to go to the factory?

Silverado Owner: Well I just got the info to see how much it was.

Shawn: Yeah they ship, they ship FedEx, I think and yeah, they don't have as good a deal from what I've seen. Alright, so you have a 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 Short bed. New body style?

Silverado Owner: Yeah. New body style

Shawn: Okay. Have you bought from us before?

Silverado Owner: No. I haven't purchased from you before, but I will from now on now that I know you guys have the cheapest shipping to Hawaii.

Shawn: Cool.

Silverado Owner: Do you know if I could install it after I put the spray liner or if I need to do it before?

Shawn: You want to get a spray liner?

Silverado Owner: Yeah I'm going to get the spray liner installed but I wasn't sure if it was going to mess up anything

Shawn: Why do you want to do that?

Silverado Owner: I don't know. Cause I'm going to put stuff in the back.

Shawn: Well, do this, look up Bedrug.

Silverado Owner: Yeah, no, I've had that before. I didn't like it as much

Shawn: No, it's, they're great man, they really are. I don't know what your experience was like, but I had one in all my trucks I love them.

Silverado Owner: Yeah I want to be able to throw stuff in the back and get dirty.

Shawn: Gotcha, well yeah, spray liner. It's probably, it might be a little bit easier to do it before the spray liner, but either way it doesn't really matter. I'd probably do the spray liner first that way the rails aren't in the way, you know. But the worst case scenario, if it doesn't sit all the way against your bulkhead, you know the back panel of your truck bed. If it doesn't bulk, you know, sit all the way against that, you might have to trim the rails a tiny bit to compensate for the material that's going to be on there but usually it's not an issue.

Silverado Owner: Okay.

Shawn: Alright, and that's about it man. We'll get you going.
