What Tonneau Covers Are Real Low Profile and Act as a Tri-Fold and Are Comparable to the Lomax?

Dodge Ram Owner: Hey Peter. I just talked with you earlier ago about the Lomax for the Ram pickup.

Peter: Okay.

Dodge Ram Owner: Just wanting to know, do you have any other tonneau covers that's a real low profile, like act as a tri-fold that are comparable to the Lomax?

Peter: Yes.

Dodge Ram Owner: Any other brands?

Peter: Yeah, all the BAKFlip models. They fit even more flush than the Lomax.

Dodge Ram Owner: Is there any difference between that and the Lomax besides the low profile? I mean is all the features about the same?

Peter: No, they're very different. The best way to look at those would be at their website which is BAK Industries. They have several different ones. They have videos and descriptions. My prices are much lower than what are advertised on that site.

Dodge Ram Owner: Appreciate it, Peter. I'll do some research and get back to you. Thank you.

Peter: Thanks. All righty, bye bye.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Hi there, this is Tonneau Covered Customer McAndrew. I ordered the BAKFlip MX4 cover, but I meant to ask about the Squeaky Clean Bed Kit to add on to that order?

Peter: Squeaky Clean Bed Kit, I'm not familiar with that.

Tonneau Covered Customer: I got an email from TonneauCovered.com. It says, "We're offering a free gift with this cover right now, it's a Tailgate Seal, a great add-on. It's a $34.95 value, and you just have to call and ask to add it for free when you call."

Peter: Yes, no problem. And I see your order here, so I can add that. That's going to come separately from our office here in Arizona. But I'll get that in there. Yep, no problem.

Tonneau Covered Customer: That's great. Thank you.

Peter: Cool. And let me ask you, so did you just ... You received a quote from us and there was a link to buy? Is that how you purchased it? Or did you call and talk to one of our representatives?

Tonneau Covered Customer: No, I think ... Well, I guess the email was from you, but it's probably auto-generated. But yeah, I used the link in the email.

Peter: What's the bed length?

Toyota Owner: 6'2" bed.

Peter: Okay. And which cover were we talking about?

What's a Truck Bed Mat That's Comparable to the Access Mat?

Dodge Ram Owner: I just received a quote from you guys for a tonneau cover and I got a couple of questions regarding it.

Peter: Okay.

Dodge Ram Owner: It was for the Lomax, Access Lomax.

Peter: Okay.

Dodge Ram Owner: You quoted me a price, but is that including the shipping?

Peter: Yeah, it's free shipping and there's no sales tax.

Dodge Ram Owner: No sales tax. What can you do for the bed liner? There's an Access truck bed mat for that same truck. Do you guys offer bulk discounts on your truck accessories?

Peter: Let me see. What truck is it for?

Dodge Ram Owner: It's a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5'7 bed.

Peter: Okay, no Ram boxes?

Dodge Ram Owner: No Ram boxes.

Peter: Okay. The truck bed mat, let's see. I actually do not carry that mat, unfortunately.

Dodge Ram Owner: The Access truck bed mat? What's a truck bed mat that's comparable to the Access one?

Peter: I'm not really familiar with that as we don't sell it, but a popular choice is the DeeZee heavyweight rubber mat. It's a little bit thicker than your average mat. That one goes for $95, and it's a custom fit.

Dodge Ram Owner: Okay, so is there a possibility you could order the Access truck mat.

Peter: No, unfortunately not, no.

Dodge Ram Owner: Okay, alrighty. But the only thing you've got for a truck mat is going to be that hard rubber mat, then?

Peter: That's right, or a Bedrug bed mat.

Dodge Ram Owner: Bedrug, that's what I was talking about. What's the Bed Rug?

Peter: Okay, Bed Rug. It's a brand and it feels like a really thin carpet, but it's actually made of a plastic so it's really durable.

Dodge Ram Owner: Can I see this online?

Peter: Yeah, bedrug.com right there. They've got a few different types of them and they have liners as well.

Dodge Ram Owner: Okay, I can look at that and then I can purchase that through you if I want to go that route, too? If so, I'll get back to you later today.

Peter: Yeah, absolutely. You can call me any time.

What's The Difference Between the Standard & Xtreme AMP Research Power Steps for a 2018 Chevy Silverado?

Silverado Owner: I'm interested in some AMP Research steps. I was looking at here the standard model or the Xtreme. I just wanted to know what the difference was as far as material and the product in general, and then also is there a difference in the warranty between the two?

Shawn: Let's see here. What kind of truck is it going on?

Silverado Owner: 2018 Silverado. Crew cab.

Shawn: So the Plug-N-Play and the Xtreme...

Silverado Owner: Yeah. I would just do the standard installment not the Plug-N-Play. I want it hard wired.

Shawn: I'm looking here. So they give you a 5 year sixty thousand mile warranty, 3 year thirty six thousand mile warranty. Let me look at the Xtreme and see what they say.

Silverado Owner: Okay. I thought it said 3 year but then I saw 5 years.

Shawn: 3 year warranty. Hold on. 5 year sixty thousand miles. All defects on the materials or workmanship on select AMP products properly installed per provided instructions except those listed under the 3 year warranty ... it's not really clear on which one it is.

Silverado Owner: Right. Okay. I just got to decide then what's the difference between the Xtreme and the other. Is it a stronger motor is it a different material? You know, those types of things. It doesn't really go into detail on their website.

Shawn: The Xtreme ... let's see here. I know its heavier duty.

Silverado Owner: Okay. As far as the mounting, it mounts the same way? Not like the LX where it has that rocker panel cover?

Shawn: Correct.

Silverado Owner: Okay. So it mounts like the standard one?

Shawn: Right. I should know this off the top of my head. I do apologize.

Silverado Owner: That's okay. Not a problem.

Shawn: Dual motor option. And then yeah, its just heavier duty. The ends are heavier duty, the track itself has more grip to it, the step itself.

Silverado Owner: That's probably the better way to go then.

Shawn: Yeah. I would say. All weather functioning, hard working constructions for superb traction. Let me see if my supplier has them. I don't know if you're ready or not but let me see if they have them just so you know and I know ... and they would be on back order of course.

Silverado Owner: Yeah. Why don't we get those ordered up. Can you send me an email so I can check out when I get home?

Shawn: Absolutely.
