What's the Difference Between the Revolver X2 and X4 for a 2018 Ford F150 SOP SuperCrew?

F150 Owner: You sent me an email and said that you have a good price on a tonneau cover for me, so I thought well let's take a look.

Tonneau Covered Agent: Okay what truck is it for?

F150 Owner: It's a 2018 Ford F150 SOP SuperCrew.

Tonneau Covered Agent: Okay, and which cover are you looking at?

F150 Owner: The Revolver X2 I think it was. I'm kind of torn between the X4 and the X2.

Tonneau Covered Agent: Okay. The X4 is only $20 more. It's free shipping and there's no sales tax if you're ordering from outside of Arizona.

F150 Owner: Okay. What's the difference between the X2 and X4?

Tonneau Covered Agent: Just the finish on top. The X2 is shiny . The X4 is a matte, black finish on top.

F150 Owner: So the X2 it kind has a soft, leathery look?

Tonneau Covered Agent: Right.

F150 Owner: Okay. Is the X4 soft or is it a hard?

Tonneau Covered Agent: Yeah, it's soft. I mean it's got the aluminum slating underneath, but it's soft on the top. It's just more of a dull, matte black.

F150 Owner: Oh, but other than that they're pretty much the same huh?

Tonneau Covered Agent: Right.

F150 Owner: Okay. But one's not going to hold up better than the other?

Tonneau Covered Agent: No, they're going to hold up the same.

F150 Owner: Okay. Yeah, I'd kind of looked at both of the covers. Alright, cool. I'm just going to think about it a little longer.

Tonneau Covered Agent: Okay. No problem.

What's the Difference Between the Retrax Covers for a 2019 Chevy Silverado?

Silverado Owner: Yes, sir. I found you on the Internet. I want to see about a a tonneau cover for a 2019 Chevy Silverado.

Peter: Okay. Which cover were you looking at?

Silverado Owner: I think the Retrax PRO MX.

Peter: Okay, nice. What's the bed length?

Silverado Owner: Five eight bed.

Peter: Got the Retrax Pro MX with free shipping. No sales tax if you order from outside of Arizona.

Silverado Owner: Let me ask you, what's the difference between that one? They sell a couple of different ones, and one's a composite and one's aluminum. And besides one's metal and one's not, what's the difference between those Retrax covers?

Peter: That is the difference. So they sell three really. So there's the polycarbonate, so the plastic. Then they have the aluminum. There's a difference in warranty as well. The plastic has a one year warranty. The aluminum has their legendary Lifetime Warranty. It holds up really well. It's super heavy duty and it holds 500 pounds on top. So it's a much more durable cover. And then they make the XR, which is, it has the tee slotted rails that you can add Yakima racks and stuff like that.

Silverado Owner: Oh yeah. I don't need that. Okay. Well let me get back with you. How long does it take to ship, or how long would it take to get here?

Peter: Usually receive it between five and seven days from when you order.

Silverado Owner: Okay. Okay. All right. Thank you very much. I appreciate the information.

Peter: Okay. Talk to you soon. Thanks.

What's the Best Tonneau Cover That's Waterproof and Secure for a 2017 GMC Canyon?

GMC Owner: I wanted to touch base with you. Got a 2017 GMC Canyon Duramax long bed and I don't really know about if there's advantages of the different tonneau covers. But I've got a GMC bedliner that's kind of a plastic one and there's a cover over the edge of the bed as well as the tailgate. I'm sure that probably has an impact on the installation or whatever needs to happen for the tonneau cover.

Peter: Yeah.

GMC Owner: So why don't you give the low down...here's what I'm looking for in terms of a tonneau cover. I want something that's going to, as you mentioned, keep things dry. But I also want something that's not going to be sliceable with a knife. Basically, what's the best waterproof cover that is also good on security?

Peter: So, you're going to want a hardcover.

GMC Owner: Yeah. Because my friends and I, if we go golfing, there'd be four bags of golf clubs when we go to the restaurant or something like that afterwards. And the last thing we need is expensive clubs disappearing.

Peter: Of course, yeah. So, by far the most popular is going to be the BAKFlip MX4. We sell more of those than anything. It's super well reviewed, it's very water resistant. When your tailgate is locked, the cover is locked and secure. And it sits flush inside the bedrail so it's got that really low-profile appearance. That's a really good option. And it's a tri fold, but it can fold completely.

GMC Owner: Is it complicated to install? I think I watched a video on that last night, if it's the same one.

Peter: It's real straight forward. Probably takes 30 minutes. Just clamp the rails on, get the drain tubes in and you're done. It's real simple.

GMC Owner: Okay. So, in order to order that, what do? Just contact you on the phone or is that how we do it?

Peter: Yeah, just give me a call and then we'll get it in for shipping and get it on the way.

GMC Owner: All right, and is this a discounted price? Or is this what?

Peter: It is. I think it's the lowest price anywhere by an authorized dealer. I mean, you can just Google it and see. But I'm beating most places by at least $100. So just give me a call when you're ready.

How Do I Find Part Numbers for Truck Accessories and Get the Best Price?

Tonneau Covered Customer: I just purchased a Tonneau Cover from you. In fact, I already got it and I put it on my truck.

Peter: Oh, good.

Tonneau Covered Customer: I have an email from you saying that you would issue a free gift, a tailgate seal?

Peter: Right. Yes. We've been doing that for the last few weeks.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Could I still get one of those tailgate seals?

Peter: Sure. Not a problem. Let me pull you up here.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Cool. I ordered a Bakflip MX4.

Peter: Got it. Okay. Yep. Give me just a second here. All right. I will have it sent out right away. It's going to be coming from our office here in Arizona, so it might take a minute, but it is on the way.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Okay, sure. Listen, I have another question for you. It's Tonneau Covers and accessories, correct?

Peter: Right.

Tonneau Covered Customer: How do I get into accessories on your webpage?

Peter: Yeah, so we really don't display them very much. I mean, we literally have pretty much anything you need for your truck. What I would recommend doing is, even if you Google it or something like that, if you just grab a part number, let me know. I'll beat their price anyway and most likely carry it.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Okay. Very good.

Peter: Yeah.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Very, very good. All right, sounds good.

Peter: Okay. All right. Well, yeah, let me know.

Tonneau Covered Customer: I appreciate it. And I'll be doing business with you again.

Peter: Sounds good. All right. We'll talk to you soon.

Tonneau Covered Customer: All right. All right, thanks Pete.

Peter: Thanks. All right, bye.

How Do I Know if I Need Wide Rail, Standard Rails or Standard Rails With Stake Pocket Cut Outs on my Retrax Cover for my 2016 Chevy High Country?

Chevy Owner: I got a quote from you guys for Retrax.

Shawn: Okay. Are you looking to place an order?

Chevy Owner: Yeah. Just got to make sure I'm getting the right one from you.

Shawn: Chevy Owner, what kind of truck do you have, my friend?

Chevy Owner: A 2016 Chevy High Country 2500.

Shawn: Okay. And you want the Pro Series?

Chevy Owner: No. Just the regular one.

Shawn: Just the one? Okay. MX or shiny?

Chevy Owner: The flatter looking one.

Shawn: Okay, matte black? And then wide rail, standard rails or standard rails with stake pocket cut-outs?

Chevy Owner: So, that's where I'm not sure what I need, to be honest with you.

Shawn: Okay. Well, let me ask you this, do you use your stake pockets for anything?

Chevy Owner: No. I guess I don't really have any use for stake pockets.

Shawn: Do you care if the rail doesn't cover your truck bed rails entirely?

Chevy Owner: No, I really don't care if the bed rails are covered. Actually, the little pocket holes there I do sometimes try to use them for tie downs. So, I mean, I guess if they're not covered that'd be better for me.

Shawn: Yeah. It is a little bit more for the cut-outs, but to be honest with you, you can do it with a dremel in your garage.

Chevy Owner: Yeah. Let's just... yeah, I'll stick with the regular one. It's fine.

Shawn: Okay.

Chevy Owner: I have tie down points in the bed, too, and all over the place. So, I'm good.

Shawn: Yeah, you won't void your warranty on your cover either because it's just the rails, so.

Chevy Owner: Okay. Let's go ahead and do it.

Shawn: Very cool. Everything's good to go. I will place this with Retrax now and you should see it within five to seven business days.

What's the Recommended Bed Mat and Tailgate Liner for a 2019 Dodge Ram?

Dodge Ram Owner: What do you guys do for bed mats? Do you got any suggestions on bed mats? I have a 2019 Dodge Ram.

Peter: Most popular are going to be just the rubber mat. Dee Zee makes one called the Heavyweight Mat. So, it's a little bit thicker than your average rubber mat. That's a custom fit for the truck too.

Dodge Ram Owner: Is that a 3/8 thick one?

Peter: It is.

Dodge Ram Owner: Are there freight charges on top of that?

Peter: Nope, that's standard delivery, and it's free shipping too!

Dodge Ram Owner: That's delivered. Okay. All right. What about a tailgate mat? And I really don't want to drill holes in my tailgate. I was actually... The only one that I see that looks decent is the WeatherTech Tailgate Mat, which you use existing screws and then it uses some Velcro tape.

Peter: Right. Yeah, we do have that.

Dodge Ram Owner: I don't know if that's the way to go or not, but. I'm assuming that you got to drill holes if you're going to use a 1/4 inch or 3/8 thick piece of mat on there, like the Dee Zee bed mat.

Peter: Right.

Dodge Ram Owner: I think Dee Zee makes a universal bed or universal tailgate cover or protector, but that thing's thick and you've got to drill holes as best I can tell.

Peter: Right. Let me see if I have the WeatherTech.

Dodge Ram Owner: And WeatherTech also makes a bed mat. Of course, it's fairly thin and you have to Velcro that thing down too. But it turns up on the sides and goes up the side of the bed about three inches it looks like.

Peter: Okay. So, just the tailgate liner.

Dodge Ram Owner: Yeah. Just the tailgate liner for now.

Peter: Ok I'll get that shipped out right away.

Dodge Ram Owner: I'm glad I called you and I appreciate it. I'll be in touch.

Peter: Sure. Well, thank you. We'll talk to you soon.
