What Happens if My BAK Revolver X4 Arrives Damaged from Shipping?

2019 Raptor Owner: I'm interested in a BAK Revolver X4 for a 2019 Raptor. I'm a little weary about ordering online or over the phone. You know you never can tell with internet reviews, but I've seen people mention that their tonneau covers have arrived damaged. What's that all about?

Peter: That's very rare. Damaged covers happen about 1% of the time in shipping. It's very rare to receive a damaged cover, but unfortunately it can happen from time to time.

2019 Raptor Owner: Okay. So if I order a tonneau cover it's damaged to I send it back to BAK, to you guys, what happens?

Peter: We take care of it. We'll get Fed-Ex to pick it up and we'll get another cover out to you right away.

2019 Raptor Owner: Cool. The price you emailed me will include the tailgate seal as well?

Peter: Right. I can throw that in there.

2019 Raptor Owner: I didn't see the tailgate seal on the invoice, but I'll assume it's in there

Peter: Yes. I'll make sure it gets sent out, but it comes separately from our office here in Arizona. So the cover and the tailgate seal will most likely arrive at separate times.

Where Can I Order a BAK Revolver X4 for a 2019 Raptor From an Authorized BAK Dealer?

Raptor Owner: I'm looking for a BAK Revolver X4 for a 2019 Raptor.

Peter: Okay. So it'd be the price that I recently sent you in your email along with free shipping and there's no sales tax.

Raptor Owner: You guys are an authorized BAK dealer, correct?

Peter: Yes. We work directly with the manufacturer.

Raptor Owner: But that means you're an authorized dealer?

Peter: Yes.

Raptor Owner: What if I buy from you guys and there's a problem and BAK says no they're not backing it. Is that going to happen?

Peter: I can include a tailgate seal kit for free. That's gonna seal up the inside of the tailgate. It's gonna help to keep dust and water out. It's a really good addition with the Tonneau Cover.

Do I Have to Wait for My Tailgate Seal Kit to Install My Tonneau Cover?

Tonneau Covered Customer: I received my tonneau cover and I was told the waterproof kit seal, or the tailgate seal kit, would be sent with my order and I didn't receive it.

Peter: It ships separately, and it comes from our office here in Arizona, so, let me pull it up here. So yeah, it's on the way, it comes US Postal Service.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Okay.

Peter: And so, you can install the cover first, that's fine, but yeah I see it here, it's on the way, but you're in New Jersey, so it's going to take a second.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Okay, so I don't have to wait for the tailgate seal kit to install my tonneau cover?

Peter: Correct. You can install the cover first and then just add the tailgate seal once it arrives.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Okay, thank you. The only thing that I find out was that when I install it, I have to pull the thing right on the edge in the front, because it seemed to be a half inch short at first.  But I think it will work out just fine. It looks nice.

Peter: Okay, great! Well that tailgate seal kit should be there soon. 

How Do I Confirm That I Received The Correct Part Number For an Extang Solid Fold 2.0 for a 2019 Ford F-150?

Tonneau Covered Customer: You sent me a Tonneau Cover last week. But unfortunately I think it's the wrong one. Can you help me confirm the part number?

Peter: It was an Extang Solid Fold 2.0, correct?

Tonneau Covered Customer: Correct. . It was an Extang Solid Fold 2.0 for a 2019 Ford F-150 with a six and a half foot bed.

Peter: Okay. Let me double check here.

Tonneau Covered Customer: I went up and looked at Extang's website and it's something like 83418 but they sent me a 84418.

Peter: So the part number should actually be 84480.

Tonneau Covered Customer: I looked on their website and I think it's supposed to be 83480, because the one that they sent me is for a toolbox. So it's only like five foot three, something like that.

Peter: Oh, I see. It was a toolbox Tonneau but you don't have a toolbox, that's what you're saying?

Tonneau Covered Customer: Correct. I do not have a toolbox

Peter: Okay. Customer service will be in in about an hour. We're going to get this swapped out for you, obviously for free. This is our mistake and we're going to get the correct one on the way and we're going to get a return shipping label for that one. Keep an eye on your email. You'll be hearing from them shortly and once again, I apologize.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Fortunately, I didn't destroy the box opening it, so it's already packed. But I don't have the plastic strapping materials, so asking for recommendations on getting that box sealed up well, right. I used packing tape, but I don't think that would hold it completely. Get some recommendations from him on what I can do to make sure that it gets back there in one piece.


Peter: Okay, will do. Yeah, they're good at that and you'll be hearing from them shortly.

Can I Purchase an Undercover UltraFlex for a 2019 Ford F150 Online?

Tonneau Covered Customer: I've spoken with you before. I've ordered a Tonneau Cover from you before, about a year or so ago, and a good friend of mine just bought a 2019 Ford F150 and he wants a cover just like mine.

Peter: Okay.

Tonneau Covered Customer: So would it be best for him to just go online and make a purchase or would you send an email quote for him?

Peter: I can email him the quote and a link to pay.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Or send it to me and I can send it over to him I guess, that way because I haven't cleared it with him giving out his email yet.

Peter: Okay. I still have your email address, so I can do that no problem. It auto populates your address though since your email is already in our system. So he will just have to change the shipping address when he goes to pay so the cover isn't shipped to you. Which cover are we talking about?

How Do I Get a Replacement Part for my Undercover UltraFlex?

Tonneau Covered Customer: I received the tonneau cover and I installed it and I did have two or three questions about the installation, but also on the driver's side rail, the little tube that comes down out that you're supposed to connect the flexible hose for the drain, that's broken off. And I looked for it in all the packaging, I thought maybe I could just glue it, but I couldn't even find it.

Peter: Okay. I'm sorry about that.

Tonneau Covered Customer: You know which part I'm talking about?

Peter: Which cover did you buy?

Tonneau Covered Customer: I bought the Undercover UltraFlex.

Peter: Okay, so when this happens, the fastest way to resolve this is to contact Undercover directly and they'll overnight it to you. They'll rush that part out to you. I can give you their number here when you're ready.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Yeah, sure. Okay, ready.
