How Do I Get a Replacement Part for my Undercover UltraFlex?

Tonneau Covered Customer: I received the tonneau cover and I installed it and I did have two or three questions about the installation, but also on the driver's side rail, the little tube that comes down out that you're supposed to connect the flexible hose for the drain, that's broken off. And I looked for it in all the packaging, I thought maybe I could just glue it, but I couldn't even find it.

Peter: Okay. I'm sorry about that.

Tonneau Covered Customer: You know which part I'm talking about?

Peter: Which cover did you buy?

Tonneau Covered Customer: I bought the Undercover UltraFlex.

Peter: Okay, so when this happens, the fastest way to resolve this is to contact Undercover directly and they'll overnight it to you. They'll rush that part out to you. I can give you their number here when you're ready.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Yeah, sure. Okay, ready.

Peter: Okay. It's 866-900-8800.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Okay. And maybe I should talk to them about the installation too because the fit seems a little bit odd on my Tacoma.

Peter: Yeah. They have techs over there that might be able to help you with an adjustment. They'd be the best ones to talk to.

Tonneau Covered Customer: Alright, Peter. Okay. Hey, thanks for your help and your time.

Peter: All right. Thank you. Have a good day.

Can I Install the BAKFlip G2 By Myself on a 2018 Ford F-150?

F-150 Owner: Hi, I'm following up on an email that we've been going back and forth with for a couple of weeks. The BAKFlip G2 I just want to make sure that the offer you got me a week or so ago is still good.

Peter: Okay, let me take a look. What truck is it for?

F-150 Owner: It's a 2018 Ford F-150 with a 5 and a half foot bed.

Peter: Okay. So, I've got the G2 in stock, and I can honor the offer I quoted you. It's free shipping and there's no sales tax.

F-150 Owner: Okay. So if we order that today, about mid-week next week is when that would come in?

Peter: Or towards the end. Yes.

F-150 Owner: And then, one of the things that y'all were doing last week was a tailgate seal kit for that.

Peter: Right. I can include that as well.

F-150 Owner: I had sent in a question last week, kind of a follow up. Because I've been shopping for months. And I noticed that on some sites, they talk about a 5'5 bed, which is what I believe I have, because that's what's on the paperwork. And then some talk about a 5'7 bed.

Peter: Right.

F-150 Owner: So, are those actually two different lengths? Or is that just a difference in the way you measure?

Peter: No, there's only one size bed for the short bed. Some people just call it a different length. But I know exactly which one that is. So, the fitment will be perfect.

F-150 Owner: Okay. Can I install this tonneau cover all by myself?

Peter: Yep, this is a piece of cake. Just take your time. You know, just get everything out. You just get the rails clamped on, get the cover in their, and install the drain tubes. It's pretty straightforward.

F-150 Owner: Okay. All right. It looks like it. It looks like it. All right, well, if you'll send that link to me, and then I can give you a credit card number over the internet, or secure email.

Peter: Yeah. I just sent it, so if you don't see it shortly, just check your spam.

Robert: Okay. Very good.

Is the BAKFlip G2 a Good Option for a 2016 Ford F150 With a 5'7 bed?

F150 Owner: I wanted to order that BAKFlip G2.

Peter: Got it. What truck is it for?

F150 Owner: It's a 2016 Ford F150, 5'7 bed.

Peter: I'll get you going here.

F150 Owner: I have a question. Does that BAKFlip lock?

Peter: Yes, when your tailgate is locked the cover is locked.

F150 Owner: Okay, all right. I know when we talked last week you were going to include a tailgate seal, the whatever it's called, the drip piece for the tailgate?

Peter: Yes, that's right. Your order will include a free tailgate seal and free shipping. Allow about five to seven days for delivery.

F150 Owner: It's pretty simple to install?

Peter: Yes. Piece of cake, 30 minutes or less.

F150 Owner: No cutting, nothing like that?

Peter: That's right.

F150 Owner: All Peter. Thanks a million man.

Peter: Thank you. Have a great day.

Where Can I Get Replacement Parts for my Tonneau Cover if Parts Arrive Damaged?

Tonneau Cover Customer: Hi, we just ordered and installed the tonneau cover. There are the two screws at the back toward the window and you have to screw the little black nuts on there, but one of them is stripped.

Shawn.: Let me pull up your order. And you said that one of the bolts are stripped?

Tonneau Cover Customer: He said it's the nut. It's a black plastic nut.

Shawn.: Ok, that would be the star knob. Is that all that is going on, just the star knob?

Tonneau Cover Customer: Do those little hose things for the water come in any other length?

Shawn.: No, unfortunately, they don't, but you can add to them if it's not long enough, which they should be long enough.

Tonneau Cover Customer: No it's not. We have a 2019, and everything seems to be different.

Shawn: Okay, I will mention that in the email to the manufacturer just in case they do have something longer, let me see. I will check that out as well. But, yeah as soon as I hear something I will let you shoot you an email.

Tonneau Cover Customer: Okay, but what about the star knob? Can I get a replacement?

Shawn.: Yeah, I already got that on, I sent them an email about both things. So, as soon as I hear that has been confirmed and I have an ETA for that I will shoot you and email.

Tonneau Cover Customer: Okay, sounds good. Thank you.

Who Can Help With Trouble Installing an MX4 Tonneau Cover?

Truck Owner: I bought an MX4 cover from you. I guess I'm having a hard time installing it, as far as when I put that weatherstripping on the front of the bed. Can you help?

Peter: What's going on?

Truck Owner: I put it back toward the bed as far as I can. When I put the tailgate up those three seals that are on top, that's supposed to fit them or supposed to be within a quarter inch; that is right. But, on the front of the box I can't. The rubber strip that's on the tonneau cover itself fits right on top of the weatherstripping.

Peter: What I think you should do is call BAK Industries.' They have some techs over there that will be able to help you with this and resolve this for you. They're really good at that.

Truck Owner: If it doesn't work, what would we do after that? Should I just give you a call back?

Peter: They're going to be able to help you. If you need to call me back, do that, no problem. But don't worry.

Truck Owner: I appreciate it. Thank you very much.
