What is the Part Number of an MX4 for a 2004 GMC Sierra Crew Cab with a 5'8 bed?

2004 GMC Sierra Owner: I was looking at something online the other day, and I was looking at one of your tonneau covers. I think it's a BAKFlip MX4?

Should I Choose the BAKFlip MX4 or G2 for my 2016 Ford F-350?

F-350 Owner: You have been emailing me about a Tonneau cover for my 2016 F-350.

F-350 Owner: It was either a BAKFlip MX4 or the BAKFlip G2. I haven't decided which one I wanted yet.

F-350 Owner: I think I'm gonna go with the G2. They're both the same except for one's matte and one's a gloss finish, correct?

Peter: Well, that's true. The MX4 is also stronger aluminum and has a longer warranty.

How Can I Find Tracking on My BAKFlip MX4 Tonneau Cover?

Tonneau Cover Customer: I'm getting several emails from you, but I ordered a tonneau cover from you, and I just want to know what the status of it is.


Peter: Okay. Okay, yeah, you ordered on Monday. You ordered the BAKFlip MX4?

Tonneau Cover Customer: Yeah, it's the MX4.

Who Can Help With Trouble Installing an MX4 Tonneau Cover?

Truck Owner: I bought an MX4 cover from you. I guess I'm having a hard time installing it, as far as when I put that weatherstripping on the front of the bed. Can you help?

Peter: What's going on? 

Truck Owner: I put it back toward the bed as far as I can. When I put the tailgate up those three seals that are on top, that's supposed to fit them or supposed to be within a quarter inch; that is right. But, on the front of the box I can't. The rubber strip that's on the tonneau cover itself fits right on top of the weatherstripping.

Peter: What I think you should do is call BAK Industries.' They have some techs over there that will be able to help you with this and resolve this for you. They're really good at that.


Truck Owner: If it doesn't work, what would we do after that? Should I just give you a call back?

Peter: They're going to be able to help you. If you need to call me back, do that, no problem. But don't worry.
