Great Cover for Honda Ridgeline

I installed my RetraxONE MX a week ago on my new 2023 Honda Ridgeline and couldn't be happier. Installation was pretty easy, about 90 minutes, and it works just as promised. I am extremely happy with my Retrax One MX Tonneau Cover for my 23 Ridgeline. It came in 3 separate boxes and arrived in 2 different days. Shipping took about 7 days, much slower than Amazon but saving about $300, made the worth the wait.
Best to install on top of a blanket or something like it so you do not scratch it before install. I took a 1/2 inch drill and enlarged the existing drain holes in the plastic/fiberglass bed in both front corners (driver/passenger) at the bulkhead. I only drilled into the bed plastic NOT THE METAL BODY underneath. The drain tubes that come with the Retrax have a 1/2 Inside diameter tube but the outside of the tube measures about 5/8ths. So I purchased 12 inches of 1/2 inch outside diameter clear tubing (6” each side). It fit perfectly into the holes I drilled and also slipped inside the Retrax tubing like it was made for it. In other words, I reduced the size of the Retrax tube that came with the cover so I would not make such a large hole in the bed.
I am 66 years old. My wife helped me lift t in place and it took me about 90 minutes to casually install. Do not over-tighten since the fit could change. It was a bit stiff at first and needed to break in so I left it in the sun. I opened and closed it a few times, made very minor adjustment so the fit was parallel to each bed side-rail and within 2 days I am 100% satisfied. It rolls great. You do get a small bit of water inside while going through a carwash. Hope this helps. Enjoy.

Rock solid cover. I did have it professionally installed. No noise at high speeds on the highway. Extremely small amount of water in bed after going through a high pressure car wash. Very happy with this cover

2018 Honda ridgeline

Great cover/price. Easy enough to install alone, if your handy. The ridgeline requires an extra kit/ step, before to read all instructions before proceeding with install. Works great. Very well made.
Would recommend.
