Nice cover!

searched for the perfect cover for my 2023 F-150 w/ 5 1/2 bed. I looked at the BakFlip MX4 the BakFlip F1 the Truxedo Sentry CT and a few other Roll up style covers. Ultimately I went with the Undercover ArmorFlex. I only went by reviews of others as this in my first bed cover. What I gathered from various reviews was that the MX4 had water absorption issues with the panels and was easily scratched and dented. The F1 was heavy and I didn’t like that when in the folded position it rested against the cab and the various roll up ones had security issues. The ArmorFlex seemed to work best for me given my particular needs.

Now what I don’t like about the ArmorFlex. Installation instructions suck, I’m a pretty handy person and it took a couple of tries to fully understand how to properly install this cover. Once you get it right it fits really well. The seal where the cover meets the lift gate seems pretty flimsy and we will see how it hold up over time. Last the rods that hold the cover up when it’s open came apart on the first use, I was able to put them back together but they definitely need to be improved.

Great cover, TonneauCovered.com could improve

Great cover, have one on a Tundra for 2 years and has held up well. Just bought for F150. Sales group could improve, over a month for delivery, incorrect communication, 7 days to reply to voicemail and email asking about order.

Problem with Side Rails

Fit is good and looks good the only problem is with the foam tape already stuck on the rail. It was already stuck on the rails up to the 90-degree angle. I had to pull off the tape and reinstall it lower so that the rail would sit flat against the bed rail.

The finished install looks and works great. There are some lessons to be learned on the install
Keeping the rails at 90 degrees is a little difficult as when the foam backing gets squeezed the rail wants to twist a bit. I solved this by placing a thin shim at the bottom of the rail flange next to each clamp. The latches also needed a little tweaking to make them engage. I removed each latch (which is really easy) shaved a bit of the latch and it fits and works great. Lastly, there were missing pieces in my box of parts, so check your contents carefully.
I called and they shipped me the parts right away. This top is the same that I purchased 11 years ago. They hv made some nice changes to make them better.
