I purchased a Revolver X4 back in 2018 ($900 back when that was worth something) for my new Silverado. Shortly after, the felt cushioning on the underside began falling off. They replaced it under warranty, although I had to install it, which meant removing the roll top and flipping it over to do this. Eventually, the car wash broke off one of the flimsy plastic corner pieces at the tailgate end, and again, they replaced it free for me. Maybe three years ago at most, the cover began developing cracks in the vinyl, even though the cover gets very infrequent use. Once more, they covered this and sent me a replacement rolling top under warranty. This one had plastic pieces underneath instead of that awful felt that would never stay in place, a definite improvement. About 6 months ago, this new top began shrinking and peeling up off the aluminum substrate. Even though I used a 3M UV protection product on it, designed for marine vinyl boat seating and similar applications, whatever quality the vinyl used on this cover did not hold up to SC sunshine at all. I need a new bed cover now, as there are no more warranty replacements for me. I will give Tonneau Covered and BAK a lot of credit for standing by their product, but even with superb customer service, no one wants to deal with a succession of troubles like I've had. When I buy something as costly as this, I expect it to last more than two or three years at a time. Not sure what I will do now -- perhaps stick to the cheaper soft covers.
My cover lasted about 2 years. 01/10/2022. It started to peal on the side.BAK STOOD BEHIND THEIR warranty so far and has begun to issue me a new cover. 10/04/2024.
Loved this bed cover at first it’s nice and clean very low profile but doesn’t stand up to the sun had it for less than 2 years and it’s falling apart
